Good ol' Griffith is the first main character to appear. He's 17, and majoring in literature and necromancy. He's a total ditz but he does his best. Probably.
Prof. Christopher Burke
Rated among the best teachers for anything anywhere, Prof. Chris loves his job, but he's probably too good to be stuck dealing with kids who don't pay attention during class.
Thatch
Thatch is studying physics with a minor in illusionations and practical charms. When you're going to try and affect the physical world, it helps to know how it works.
Magenta
She's a teacher's aide at the school, studying practical charms. Her head has not been severed, that's just a projection spell. It works like a video broadcast, so don't worry.
Ciera
This kid is best described as an emotional minimalist. She's studying to be an elementalist, the most flamboyant of all the disciplines.
Noah Harper
Who's a cool cat? This guy. If you need to know anything about magic words or true names, consult a textbook. If you can't find a textbook, go to Noah. He's got you.
Fish Kid
Fish kid does not speak with our words. She's either a human who became part fish, or a very talented fish that somehow became a person. Either way, she is the fish kid.
